A Most Delicious Story
In 2018 a couple from Austalia arrived in the beautiful village of Paisley and transformed an ordinary storefront into an “out of this world” ice cream shop (complete with aliens named after real astronauts). People of all ages enjoyed the magic and many inspired the making of the ice cream flavors listed below. Rob and Tammie embraced Saugie, Keeper of the Saugeen River and just added a lot of color (primarily tiedye) and sweetness to the village. Every year they opened on May 4rth and declared, ” May the 4th be with you!” The children and adults had a lot of fun and many got the opportunity to have create and name ice cream flavors.
In 2025, they needed to return Down Under and sold the business to Sandra Blodgett at Orchard’s Landing Paisley, where it was lovingly rebranded Tomboi2.
True to the original theme, we will be celebrating May the 4th weekend with the opening of our Tomboi2 room and Kid’s play space from April 30 to May 4th
Jayla Prevost, an previous employee is overseeing the ice cream making process for the summer of 2026. Ice cream in dishes is available all the time and we will be scooping Thursday to Sunday afternoons/evenings April 30 to June 21 and from 4 – 8 every evening from June 25 to August 31.
